			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>SOFTWARE ENGINEER (WEB/FLASH PROGRAMMER) &#8211; Design website interface and program websites with Flash Programming, Action Script Programming, Motion Graphics, HTML, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), PHP, CMS (Content Management System), and MySQL Database design and development. <span id="more-603"></span> Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and website software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.  Formulate and design software system, using scientific analysis and &#8220;mathematical models&#8221; to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.  Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.  Coordinate installation of software system and consult with customer(s) concerning maintenance thereof.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Concussion Advertising offers internships in the following areas:  Account Service, Traffic/Production and Graphic Design.  The internship program is designed for college juniors and seniors, and is offered in three separate sessions:  spring semester (January – May), summer (May – August) and fall (August – December).  We are currently accepting resumes for the next session.<span id="more-14"></span></p>
<p>The intern(s) responsibilities will include assisting departments in project work, proof reading and editing, answering the phone, running errands and other administrative duties.  Interns will also have the opportunity to attend client meetings, assist with client projects, tour a printing company and interact with all internal departments for an overall understanding of how an agency works.  The intern team is also assigned a group project to develop a marketing plan and advertising campaign for a client.  They will present the plan and campaign to the client at the end of their internship. </p>
<p>We hope that you will gain the experience and recommendations you will need to start your career in the advertising industry.  The ideal candidate will understand that the experience gained by interning at an agency is invaluable and that every task is equally important.  It is imperative that the intern take the initiative to seek out tasks.</p>
<p>The internship is paid on a stipend based on the number of hours worked.  The internship requires a minimum of 20 hours per week.</p>
